Equinor Increases Stake in Ørsted to Above 5%

Ørsted A/S has announced a significant change in its ownership structure. According to the Danish Capital Markets Act, Equinor ASA has notified Ørsted that it has increased its shareholding to more than 5%. As of October 7, 2024, Equinor now owns 41,197,344 shares in Ørsted. This accounts for 9.8% of Ørsted's voting rights and share capital.

The increased stake does not impact Ørsted’s financial guidance for the fiscal year 2024. Ørsted continues its focus on renewable energy, maintaining its commitment to a future powered by green energy.
