EnviTec Biogas Reports Solid Performance Amidst Market Changes

EnviTec Biogas AG announced a solid performance for the fiscal year 2024, despite a decline from the record levels of previous years. The company's total output decreased by 20.9% to EUR 352.5 million, while revenues dropped by 19% to EUR 337.7 million. Earnings before taxes (EBT) also fell to EUR 44 million, down from EUR 88.2 million in the prior year. A dividend of EUR 0.50 per share is proposed for 2024.

The Own Plant Operation segment experienced an 18.8% revenue decrease, attributed to lower prices of electricity and gas. However, the Service segment grew by 4%, generating EUR 50.5 million. Meanwhile, the Plant Construction segment saw revenues fall due to fewer completed projects.

EnviTec also highlighted continued investments in upgrading gas plants and expressed optimism about future opportunities in biomethane applications. For 2025, the company projects total output between EUR 330 million and EUR 370 million, with EBT expected to range from EUR 25 million to EUR 35 million.
