EnviTec Biogas Reports Solid 2025 Performance Despite Challenges

EnviTec Biogas AG announced a solid performance in fiscal year 2025, with total output rising by 6.8% to EUR 376.4 million. However, revenues declined by 7.4% to EUR 312.6 million, and earnings before taxes dropped to EUR 26.0 million from EUR 44.0 million in the previous year. The Executive Board has proposed a dividend suspension for 2025 due to the challenging market environment.

Significant growth was recorded in Own Plant Operation, with sales revenues up by 15.4% to EUR 221.2 million. However, the Service and Plant Construction segments experienced declines. Short-term burdens include the abolition of double GHG quota counting, impacting the bio-LNG business and creating financial pressure.

Looking forward, EnviTec forecasts total output between EUR 330 million and EUR 370 million for 2026, with EBT between EUR 5 million and EUR 15 million. Despite near-term challenges, the company expects growth from 2027 onwards, bolstered by strategic investments and a well-filled order book.
