EnviTec Biogas AG Announces New Management Team for Plant Construction

EnviTec Biogas AG, Germany's leading biogas producer, has unveiled a change in the leadership of its Plant Construction division, marking a significant stride towards adapting to the evolving biogas industry landscape. Effective from 1 April 2024, Jakob Falkenstein, Maurice Markerink, and CTO Jürgen Tenbrink form the new management trio at EnviTec Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG. The company aims to leverage this change to further harness market opportunities with technical and entrepreneurial innovation.

According to Olaf von Lehmden, CEO of EnviTec Biogas AG, this reformation is intended to build upon the past achievements while tackling new challenges head-on. The outgoing managers, CFO Jörg Fischer and Lars von Lehmden, will continue their association with the company via the newly established Advisory Board, with Lars von Lehmden focusing on business development in the USA and international project development.

CTO Jürgen Tenbrink highlighted the increasing complexity and growth in project volumes within the biogas market, emphasizing the company’s continued focus on research and development, alongside new advancements in gas upgrading and CO2 liquefaction technologies. Maurice Markerink, celebrating the role of biogas in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, will steer national and international sales and new business development. Jakob Falkenstein will oversee day-to-day operations including planning, construction, and quality assurance.

The management reform signifies EnviTec's commitment to strengthening global partnerships in the biogas sector, aiming to expand the reach of biomethane plants worldwide with a focus on emerging markets such as Indonesia, Poland, Spain, and Sweden, alongside existing strongholds in Europe.
