Entech signs contract to build agrivoltaic power plants
Entech has announced the signing of a contract worth over €10 million for the construction of four agrivoltaic power plants in southern France. This project aims for a total installed capacity of 13 MWp. Work will begin in the summer of 2025 and is expected to be completed by the summer of 2026. Entech Construction will lead operations, designing and installing the systems.
Three of the facilities will be connected to the high-voltage grid, while one will be connected to the low-voltage grid. Entech CEO Christopher Franquet emphasizes the importance of reconciling energy production and agriculture, while taking into account environmental restrictions.
