WorldSkills Shanghai 2026: Venue Details and Highlights
WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 kicked off on September 22, with skill competitions taking place from September 23 to 26 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC). This renowned event features three key components: the 48th WorldSkills Competition, WorldSkills Conference 2026, and WorldSkills Expo.
The competition draws 1,385 participants from 68 countries and regions, competing in 64 skills across six sectors. These events unfold in eight distinct halls at the NECC. The concurrent conference, held from September 23 to 25, gathers policymakers and industry leaders to discuss vocational education and skills development.
The WorldSkills Expo, primarily situated in Hall 5.2H, offers an interactive experience with demonstrations and themed exhibitions. Attendees can explore skills such as welding, cloud computing, and cooking across various halls, checking the schedule for specific timings.
