Energiekontor AG Secures Contracts for Two Solar Projects in France

Energiekontor AG, a German renewable energy company based in Bremen, has been awarded contracts for two solar park projects in France. These projects, located in the Occitania region, have been approved following a French tender process for ground-mounted photovoltaic systems. Energiekontor successfully secured fixed energy prices for its Rignac and Lachapelle-Auzac solar parks, which will generate around 17 and 24 megawatts respectively. The tariff for this energy is set for a term of 20 years and will be indexed annually for inflation.

This marks the first construction approvals for Energiekontor's projects in France. The company's CEO, Peter Szabo, expressed optimism, highlighting the achievement as a milestone for their team. The projects are expected to reach financial closure by the first quarter of 2025, advancing the company's portfolio in renewable energy operations.
