Energiekontor AG Receives Permits for Three Wind Park Projects
Bremen-based Energiekontor AG has secured building permits for three new wind park projects in Lower Saxony, Germany. These projects will deliver a combined generation volume of approximately 116 megawatts. The projects are expected to participate in the upcoming EEG tender of the Federal Network Agency in November 2024.
Additionally, Energiekontor is preparing to start construction on several other wind and solar projects. This includes solar parks in Seukendorf and Letschin, and repowering wind parks in Oederquart and Würselen. The total generation capacity of these projects will exceed 120 megawatts.
CEO Peter Szabo stated that the company now holds 36 building permits for projects across Germany, Scotland, and France, amounting to a total nominal power of about 1.2 gigawatts. Energiekontor has realized over 160 wind and solar parks since its inception, with a total capacity of 1.4 gigawatts.
