Energiekontor AG Expands with Seukendorf Solar Park Operation

Energiekontor AG, a German renewable energy company, has officially launched the Seukendorf solar park in Bavaria. This marks an expansion of their portfolio, which now provides renewable energy to over 3,800 households and reduces CO2 emissions by 9,400 tonnes annually. With a capacity of 12 megawatts, the new park operates under a long-term power purchase agreement, enhancing Energiekontor’s energy generation capabilities.

This addition increases the company's proprietary capacity to approximately 395 megawatts across 37 wind parks and two solar parks. The firm plans further growth with solar and wind developments totaling 222 megawatts. Upcoming projects include two solar parks in Brandenburg and Baden-Württemberg expected in early 2025.

CEO Peter Szabo states that this expansion supports Energiekontor’s growth strategy, strengthening financial stability and income predictability by diversifying technology and increasing power generation.
