Electric Metals is advancing what is said to be North America's highest-grade manganese deposit at its Emily Project in Minnesota. The company's goal is to become a key producer of high-purity manganese chemical and metal products, especially vital to sectors such as electric vehicles and national defense.

The Executive Order could potentially enhance the strategic and commercial value of domestic manganese production alternatives. Notably, this aligns with Electric Metals' strategy to create a supply chain based in the U.S. for critical battery materials, potentially reducing the heavy reliance on Chinese HPMSM production.
