Ekinops unveils its new 100G solution for the Edge

Ekinops, a leading player in optical transport, has launched a new pluggable module, the PM_100HDF01, in its Ekinops360 WDM portfolio. This product addresses the growing demand for 100G throughput at the network edge, driven by 5G and Edge Computing. It promises high performance for long-haul applications and efficient deployment.

Key features include an improvement over existing solutions and the ability to manage a demarcation point for simplified SLA monitoring. The PM_100HDF01 is cost-optimized with FlexRate™ 200G technology.

According to Sylvain Quartier, Marketing Director, this module meets the needs between the insufficient 10G and the oversized 200G, already attracting several customers.
