Edmentum and America Succeeds Announce Durable Skills Partnership

Edmentum, a leader in K-12 learning acceleration solutions, has partnered with America Succeeds, an educational policy group, to include Durable Skills in their Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses. This collaboration aims to equip middle and high school students with skills like critical thinking and collaboration, which are essential in today’s workforce. America Succeeds has pinpointed these Durable Skills as vital across various jobs and industries, following input from over 800 industry and education professionals.

The partnership will allow Edmentum to enhance its CTE and Career Exploration Courses with these skills, addressing both educational and workforce demands. Edmentum’s CEO, Jamie Candee, highlighted the importance of preparing students for future careers through this initiative. Similarly, America Succeeds’ Tim Taylor expressed enthusiasm for embedding Durable Skills in educational content to support economic success and mobility for students.
