Strategic change for Edisun Power Europe AG
At the general meeting on May 29, 2026, Edisun Power Europe AG decided to take over the activities of SMARTENERGY Group AG. This step also marks the change of the company's name to SMARTENERGY AG.
The overwhelming approval of shareholders, representing 71.18% of the votes, confirmed this strategic choice. A capital increase was approved, allowing the issuance of more than two million shares.
The board of directors, including Horst H. Mahmoudi and his colleagues, was re-elected with strong support. The company, thus restructured, aims to become a leader in green energy solutions.
It has been decided not to distribute a dividend this year. The next general meeting will be held in May 2027.
