Edenred Announces Share Capital Decrease Through Treasury Shares Cancellation
The Board of Directors of Edenred SE met on September 16, 2024, and, following authorization from the General Meeting on May 7, 2024, decided to reduce the company's share capital. This decision involves the cancellation of 4,502,462 treasury shares, representing 1.80% of the share capital. These shares were repurchased between April 19 and September 10, 2024, as part of the share buyback program initiated on March 8, 2024.
Post-cancellation, Edenred SE now has 245,085,597 shares, each with a par value of €2. The move aims to optimize the capital structure of the company and potentially enhance shareholder value.
