Econocom announces the appointment of Angel Benguigui as Group CEO
On July 24, 2024, the Board of Directors of Econocom appointed Angel Benguigui to the position of Group CEO. Jean-Louis Bouchard, founder of Econocom, becomes operational President. Patrick Van Den Berg leaves his position as Managing Director. This reorganization is part of the new “One Econocom 2024-2028” strategic plan.
Angel Benguigui, with nearly 20 years of experience within Econocom, will be responsible for implementing the “One Econocom” plan. Jean-Louis Bouchard expressed his confidence in Benguigui, emphasizing his expertise and his central role in the development of the strategic plan.
The new governance aims to ensure the successful implementation of the group's digital transformation initiatives. Benguigui will soon form a new Executive Committee to strengthen the expertise of general management.
