This development positions Eckert & Ziegler among the few global suppliers capable of providing sufficient quantities of this crucial radioisotope.
Actinium-225 is highly sought after for targeted radiopharmaceutical applications, particularly in treating small tumors and micrometastases. However, production has been limited due to complex technical challenges. The expanded capacity is a strategic milestone that promises to improve global supply and foster advancement in diagnostics and therapeutics.
Eckert & Ziegler supplies other critical isotopes like Gallium-68 and Lutetium-177, enhancing their commitment to supporting innovative radiopharmaceutical developments.
