Eagle Plains and Ya’thi Néné Lands Sign Exploration Agreement

Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. and Ya’thi Néné Lands and Resource Office have announced a new Exploration Agreement. This partnership aims to support mineral exploration in the traditional Athabasca First Nations territories in the Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 areas. The agreement emphasizes collaboration with local communities for employment, training, and respect for cultural practices.

The partnership will allow active participation from Basin Communities, offering employment, training, and business opportunities. Eagle Plains commits to maintaining a respectful relationship with these communities, ensuring environmental protection and involvement of local residents in project areas.

Eagle Plains has been involved in Saskatchewan’s uranium exploration since 2006, holding interests in 19 projects. This agreement covers six projects in the Lake Athabasca area, under option to Xcite Resources Inc.
