Procivis Joins EU-Wide Digital Identity Initiative

Procivis, a leader in digital identity technology, announced its participation in the WE BUILD consortium. This marks a significant step in the EU's digital identity wallet initiative. Procivis, a subsidiary of Orell Füssli, brings eIDAS 2.0 compliant technology to the project.

The WE BUILD consortium is a large-scale EU pilot focusing on digital identity wallets for business and payment use cases. Nearly 200 organizations from the public and private sectors are involved, aiming to test and implement real-world applications for the European Digital Identity Wallet and business wallets. The initiative launches on September 3 in Amsterdam and will last 24 months under Dutch and Swedish government leadership.

Procivis will contribute to three out of thirteen use cases focusing on payments and business wallets. As a technical provider, its technology, Procivis One, can be implemented across all projects within WE BUILD.
