Avolta Secures 11-Year Duty-Free Contract at JFK Terminal 8

Avolta AG, trading as Dufry, has clinched an 11-year duty-free contract at John F. Kennedy International Airport's Terminal 8. This marks the eighth contract for Avolta at JFK, reinforcing its strategic focus on one of the world's principal airports. The new agreement expands Dufry’s space to over 4,400 m², enhancing travelers' experiences with luxury boutiques, a pre-loved luxury shop, and New York-themed stores.

Avolta's CEO, Xavier Rossinyol, highlighted the significant growth potential demonstrated by their successes at JFK. Steve Johnson, President and CEO of North America at Avolta, emphasized their visionary approach to transforming duty-free shopping in Terminal 8.

In collaboration with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Airports, American Airlines, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Avolta's contracts contribute to JFK’s USD 19 billion redevelopment. This includes enhancing existing terminals and building new ones, aiming to establish a world-class travel hub.
