DTCP Secures €455 Million for Defence Fund
DTCP has announced the first closing of its Defence Fund I, securing €455 million in commitments. The fund aims to invest in European defence, security, and resilience technologies. Notable investors include Deutsche Telekom, Porsche SE, EIFO, Danica, and SmartCap. The dedicated investment team is led by Ole Aguirre and Georgia Watson.
Two initial investments have been made in Six Robotics and Kraken Technology Group. The strategy focuses on early-growth and growth-stage technology companies across Europe and NATO countries. Target sectors include AI, autonomous systems, and cyber defence. DTCP aims to enhance Europe's security capabilities through strategic investments.
The fund's strategy aligns with the broader NATO commitment to increase defence spending. A new office in Copenhagen will support connections to the Nordic defence ecosystem. This initiative is part of DTCP's mission to bolster European defence through well-informed investments.
