Drägerwerk Q1 2025 Preliminary Results: EBIT Declines Despite Strong Orders

Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA reported its Q1 2025 preliminary results, indicating a drop in earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) compared to the previous year. The EBIT for Q1 stood at approximately EUR 0.4 million, a significant decrease from EUR 15.1 million in Q1 2024. This decline was attributed to lower net sales and increased expenses. Despite this, the company's order intake showed positive signs, with a 6.1% increase to around EUR 861 million, reflecting strong demand for Dräger's products and services.

Net sales nearly matched the previous year's levels at approximately EUR 730 million, remaining relatively stable. The medical division saw a slight decrease in net sales by 1.6% to around EUR 413 million, while the safety division experienced a minor decline of 0.6% to around EUR 317 million.
