Dr. Alexander Sagel Joins RENK Group AG's Executive Board

RENK Group AG has announced the appointment of Dr. Alexander Sagel as a new member of its Executive Board, effective from April 1, 2024. As the company's third Executive Board member, Dr. Sagel brings an extensive background in engineering and management, including various leadership roles within the Rheinmetall Group.

In his new role, Dr. Sagel will oversee the operational management of three key segments: Vehicle Mobility Solutions (VMS), Marine & Industry (M&I), and Slide Bearings (SB). Operations and Technology divisions will report directly to him, indicating a strategic focus on these areas moving forward.

Claus von Hermann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed high regard for Dr. Sagel's experience in the defense industry, highlighting his potential to further enrich the Executive Board. Dr. Sagel shared his enthusiasm for joining RENK, underlining the company's leadership in high-performance propulsion systems and his commitment to its growth.
