DKSH Expands in Malaysia with Kinematic Acquisition

DKSH Management Ltd. has finalized the acquisition of Kinematic Resources Sdn. Bhd., a prominent distributor of scientific instruments in Malaysia. This strategic move aligns with DKSH Technology's aim to reinforce its presence in the scientific solutions market across Asia and beyond.

The acquisition of Kinematic, which was established in 2005 and employs 13 staff, is expected to add CHF 6 million in annual sales. Kinematic has established relationships with leading companies, enabling it to offer advanced analytical equipment to the scientific community.

Christopher Goh, Managing Director of Kinematic, expressed optimism about the growth opportunities this partnership will bring within Malaysia and internationally. Hanno Elbraechter from DKSH Technology emphasized that Kinematic's local expertise will enhance DKSH's market position in Malaysia and expand into East Malaysia.
