DFSK Marks 20 Years with E5 PLUS Launch in Global Expansion Effort

On October 22, 2025, DFSK celebrated a milestone in Chongqing, China, as the E5 PLUS, its first overseas new energy model, rolled off the production line. This event was viewed worldwide through a live stream. The E5 PLUS, a new energy and smart technology flagship product, is set to meet the global demand for eco-friendly vehicles. DFSK, part of the SERES Group, has spent 20 years in international markets, exporting over 500,000 vehicles to more than 70 countries. It leads Chinese brands in export share in South America and Southeast Asia. Originally entering markets with commercial vehicles in 2005, DFSK expanded to passenger and new energy vehicles, becoming a symbol of green mobility.

The E5 PLUS, a mid-size SUV, emphasizes design, space, performance, safety, and intelligence. It integrates features like a plug-in hybrid powertrain and advanced intelligent systems to support daily use. As DFSK Vice President Joe Zhou noted, the brand stays committed to quality and innovation, targeting diverse consumer needs worldwide.
