DEMIRE Announces Leadership Change: Frank Nickel Takes Over as CEO

DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG (DEMIRE) revealed a significant change in its executive leadership, appointing Mr. Frank Nickel as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), in place of Prof. Dr. Alexander Goepfert. This immediate and effective change was formally announced on April 3, 2024, as per a notification adhering to the EU Regulation 596/2014 Article 17. The Supervisory Board made this strategic decision to replace Goepfert, ending his tenure as CEO.

Frank Nickel, who has been serving as a Senior Advisor to DEMIRE since September 2023, brings extensive industry experience to his new role. Before joining DEMIRE, Nickel held significant positions at CA Immobilien Anlagen AG and Cushman & Wakefield. His appointment aims to strengthen DEMIRE’s management team, which also includes Mr. Tim Brückner and Mr. Ralf Bongert. This leadership transition is expected to guide DEMIRE through its next phase of growth and development in the real estate sector.
