Decline in sales at HERIGE in the first quarter of 2024
HERIGE announced a 14.1% drop in its turnover for the first quarter of 2024, totaling 195.0 million euros, compared to 227.1 million euros in the same period the previous year. This decrease takes place in a context of slowdown in the new construction sector and was influenced by the implementation of the new contours of the MaPrimeRenov' system as well as by unfavorable calendar effects.
The different branches of the group were affected differently. Industrial carpentry recorded a 12.3% decrease in revenue, the concrete industry fell 13.8% despite an increase in volumes of the low-carbon Vitaliss® range, and materials trading saw its figures rise. decrease by 16.1%, strongly affected by the fall in the construction of individual houses (-33.3%).
Even in this difficult market environment, HERIGE displays its determination to maintain its operational performance and to pursue its CSR commitments, in particular through the promotion of renovation and rehabilitation, and through transition plans to reduce its footprint. carbon.
