Decline in financial performance for Eaux de Royan in 2023

The turnover excluding taxes of Eaux de Royan experienced a significant decline in 2023, standing at 10.9 million euros, compared to 17.4 million in 2022, revealing a decrease of 37.36%. This reduction is mainly explained by the loss of the Seudre contract which was taken over by the company SEPRA, a subsidiary of CER. Despite this drop, the company's net profit remains positive with 270,000 euros, although lower than that of the previous year which was 1,098 million euros.

In terms of activities, the drop is significant in new connections and in pipeline work, decreasing by 0.70 million euros and 0.59 million respectively. However, a considerable increase of €3.4 million was noted in contract work which bucks this negative trend.

For 2024, Eaux de Royan forecasts a turnover of 9.5 million euros, with stability hoped for in the works. Concerning the allocation of results, the majority of the 2023 net profit will be proposed as dividends at the General Meeting in June.
