DEAG Annual General Meeting Reports Successful Year and Board Changes

Berlin, 27 June 2024 – DEAG Deutsche Entertainment Aktiengesellschaft successfully conducted its Annual General Meeting on 25 June 2024. CEO Detlef Kornett presented the company's growth strategy and recapped a prosperous financial year 2023. The company remains optimistic for 2024, anticipating increased EBITDA and positive sales trends.

Shareholders overwhelmingly approved all agenda items, with over 98% in favor. Dr Antonella Mei-Pochtler and Alexander Hix were elected to the Supervisory Board. Long-serving Chairman Wolf-Dieter Gramatke retired after more than two decades of service. Tobias Buck was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the subsequent meeting.

Dr Mei-Pochtler and Mr Hix bring extensive experience from various executive roles. Dr Mei-Pochtler has served at Boston Consulting Group and Generali Group, while Mr Hix has held positions at Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Jahrhunderthalle GmbH and other financial institutions.
