DATAGROUP Expands its SAP Expertise with Acquisition of ISC Innovative Systems Consulting AG

DATAGROUP SE, a prominent IT service company based in Pliezhausen, announced its acquisition of ISC Innovative Systems Consulting AG on March 25, 2024. This move aims to bolster DATAGROUP's prowess in SAP services and increase its presence in Southern Germany. This acquisition marks the third for DATAGROUP in the current fiscal year, emphasizing its aggressive expansion strategy.

ISC Innovative Systems Consulting AG, founded in 1998, has been a key player in the IT consulting sector, specializing in SAP-related services. The company, which generated approximately EUR 12.5m in annual revenues and boasted a low double-digit EBIT margin, employs around 50 people across its Rosenheim and Montabaur sites. Its expertise in S/4 HANA transformations, SAP implementation, and the development of cloud-based SAP solutions makes it a valuable addition to DATAGROUP's portfolio.

The acquisition not only enhances DATAGROUP's capabilities in the SAP domain but also presents cross-selling and upselling opportunities within its CORBOX full-service portfolio. Both parties express optimism about the merger, with Andreas Baresel, DATAGROUP's CEO, praising ISC's team and their potential to contribute to DATAGROUP's service range. Peter Heinold, founder and CEO of ISC, highlighted the benefits for customers and employees alike.

This acquisition is part of DATAGROUP's ongoing growth strategy, marked by previous acquisitions such as conplus and iT TOTAL earlier in the fiscal year. Looking forward, DATAGROUP plans to continue its expansion through strategic acquisitions, focusing on companies that enhance its core business and have high digitization competence.
