Daimler Truck Holding AG Updates 2024 Financial Outlook

Daimler Truck Holding AG has revised its financial projections for 2024. The company now anticipates unit sales of 460,000 to 480,000 units, down from the previous estimate of 490,000 to 510,000 units. Revenue is adjusted to €53-55 billion, a slight decrease from the previous €55-57 billion.

EBIT is expected to fall significantly below the prior year's level, with adjusted EBIT slightly below last year. The Industrial Business segment forecasts revenue between €50 and €52 billion, with an adjusted ROS of 8% to 9.5%.

For Trucks North America, adjusted ROS remains at the higher end of the 11% to 13% range. The Mercedes-Benz segment's adjusted ROS is now projected to be 6% to 8%, and unit sales are revised to 120,000-135,000 units. Trucks Asia is expected to have an adjusted ROS of 1.5% to 3.5% due to BFDA impairment.

Daimler Buses segment anticipates an adjusted ROS of 6.5% to 8.5%, while Financial Services expects an ROE of 6% to 8% and new business of €10-12 billion.
