CTS EVENTIM Marks Record Year with Impressive Financial Growth

CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA, a leading name in the ticketing and live entertainment sector, reported its 18th consecutive record year since its initial public offering in 2000. The company's annual revenue exceeded the EUR 2 billion mark for the first time, reaching EUR 2.359 billion, a 22% increase from the previous year. This growth was accompanied by a notable 32% rise in normalised EBITDA, amounting to EUR 501.4 million. Additionally, the dividend reached an all-time high of EUR 1.43 per share.

CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg credits this success to the booming live entertainment sector, the creativity of artists, the boldness of promoters, and the reliability of CTS EVENTIM's platforms and systems. Beyond ticket sales, the company has made significant strides internationally, notably in South America, with key acquisitions in Chile and Peru. Despite challenges, the Live Entertainment segment managed a 19% revenue increase to EUR 1.677 billion.

The company also highlighted its ongoing expansion in the USA and its venture into new entertainment formats, such as touring exhibitions. A significant milestone is the commencement of the ARENA FOR MILAN project, set to be Italy’s most innovative and sustainable multipurpose arena. Reflecting on the remarkable performance of 2023, CTS EVENTIM anticipates moderate revenue growth and sustained earnings for 2024.
