Crossing thresholds: Amundi reduces its stake in Veolia Environnement
On May 15, 2024, the company Amundi fell below the thresholds of 5% of the capital and voting rights of Veolia Environnement, according to a press release received on May 17, 2024. Amundi now holds 36,231,965 Veolia shares, equivalent to 4, 99% of the capital and voting rights of the company.
The shares are mainly distributed among various Amundi entities, including Amundi Asset Management (3.24%) and Amundi Ireland Limited (0.47%). This crossing of thresholds results from a sale of shares on the market.
Amundi, 70% owned by Crédit Agricole, however remains an independent entity within the framework of current regulations.
