C-Path Launches Global Pediatric IBD Project from European Hub

Critical Path Institute (C-Path) has officially launched its Disease Modeling Coalition focusing on pediatric inflammatory bowel disease (pIBD). This initiative, spread across multiple stakeholders, aims to develop advanced disease progression models for pediatric Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. These models will assist in drug development and evaluation processes.

In collaboration with the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition and the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, the project gathers expertise in medical practice and data science. Quinten Health joins as the founding AI partner. Its goal is to create reference models that integrate comprehensive clinical and real-world data.

This project represents a key advancement in developing pediatric remedies for chronic inflammatory diseases. It seeks to align data and regulatory science to reduce patient burden and enhance evidence across programs. C-Path invites industry partners to contribute to this initiative.
