Sensirion Expands Production Facility in Debrecen

Sensirion, a leading manufacturer of environmental and flow sensors, has expanded its production facility in Debrecen, Hungary. The new building adds 7,000 m2 of production and logistics capacity, boosting Sensirion's ability to meet rising demand for sensor modules. This move aligns with Sensirion’s growth goals and reinforces its role as a significant employer in the region, offering stable jobs and favorable working conditions.

The Debrecen site, established five years ago, serves the medical technology and automotive markets, known for their high-quality standards. It also produces leakage modules for A2L refrigerant detection for the American market, cementing its strategic importance.

The extension features advanced cleanrooms and utilizes sustainable technologies like a geothermal heat pump and a photovoltaic system, enabling Sensirion to generate 25% of its electricity on-site. This project supports Sensirion's sustainable growth strategy and contributes to job creation in the region.
