Core Assets Reports Longest Massive Sulphide Intercept to Date
Core Assets Corp. has announced significant assay results from its 2024 drilling campaign at the Silver Lime Project, located in the Atlin Mining District of British Columbia. The company's Vice President of Exploration, Monica Barrington, will discuss these findings in a live session on November 28. The drilling program successfully extended the mineralization footprint across the Silver Lime Project, highlighting several high-grade intersections, including the longest massive sulphide intercept to date.
Eleven drill holes, totaling over 3,600 meters, targeted Mo-Cu-Ag porphyry and Fe-Zn-Cu skarn mineralization. Notably, drill hole SLM24-061 returned 11.78 meters of 10.6% zinc, 0.36% copper, and 16g/t silver from surface at the Whaleback Target. These results confirm high-grade mineralization continuity and suggest further exploration potential at depth.
Core Assets' President & CEO, Nick Rodway, noted the success of identifying novel mineralization zones and highlighted the potential for additional discoveries as exploration continues. The company looks forward to sharing further data and structural interpretations shortly.
