CookieYes has launched its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, integrating cookie consent management with AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. This development allows over 2 million customers to manage consent setups and updates directly through conversational AI interfaces. The MCP server connects these AI tools to external software, enabling seamless consent management without navigating complex dashboards.
Through this integration, users can check banner statuses, run scans, and update settings using simple prompts. The server offers ten tools, facilitating read-only access and requiring approval for actions affecting banner configurations. The MCP server also allows marketers and agencies to streamline campaign preparation by reviewing scan results across multiple websites.
Security protocols such as OAuth 2.1 with PKCE ensure that sensitive data remains protected, allowing only limited access to banner configurations and scan metadata. The service is incorporated into all CookieYes plans, including the free version, emphasizing easy consent management.
