Continental AG Evaluates Spin-Off of Automotive Group Sector
Hanover, August 5, 2024. Continental AG's Executive Board has decided to evaluate a spin-off of its Automotive group sector. This strategic review aims for a 100% public listing on the Frankfurt stock exchange.
Should the spin-off occur, the Automotive group sector would no longer be a part of Continental Group. Instead, current Continental shareholders would become direct shareholders of the new Automotive Group. The Contract Manufacturing group sector would also be included in this transaction.
The Executive Board aims to decide on this spin-off in the fourth quarter. If approved by the Executive and Supervisory Boards, the proposal could be presented at the annual shareholder’s meeting on April 25, 2025, with a target completion by end of 2025.
