Launch of the ESG 1000® certification standard by the IGSF

The International Group for Sustainable Finance (IGSF), an NGO based in Luxembourg, announces the launch of the ESG 1000® extra-financial certification standard. This standard aims to strengthen the extra-financial governance of companies and organizations. It stands out through its certifying capacity in a varied international market and its unique approach to global performance. It combines economic performance and extra-financial governance objectives to promote sustainable growth.

The ESG 1000® standard represents a validation tool for companies' extra-financial commitments, and the IGSF plans to implement it in more than 50 countries in five years, via certified organizations. This certification helps companies protect themselves extra-financial risks and to align with regulatory constraints.
