COFICERT and Hédon Associés Sign Strategic Partnership for ESG 1000 Certification

COFICERT, an international certification body, and Hédon Associés, a consulting firm specializing in CSR, have announced a strategic partnership. The collaboration aims to deploy the ESG 1000 certification standard, governed by the International Group For Sustainable Finance (IGSF), to help businesses enhance their CSR practices and comply with regulatory requirements, particularly the new European CSRD directive.

Hédon Associés will provide companies with advisory and support solutions to structure and upgrade their CSR systems before COFICERT's evaluation. This partnership allows companies to promote their sustainability commitments through an internationally recognized certification process.

Certifying to the ESG 1000 standard is seen as a competitive advantage, allowing companies to anticipate business risks while demonstrating their dedication to optimal CSR practices. The standard includes criteria integrating worldwide recognized CSR standards such as GRI, ESRS, ISO 26000, and ISO 14000.

Key figures in the industry, such as Quentin Oury from Hédon Associés and Cristian Mocanu from COFICERT, emphasized the importance and benefits of this partnership. They highlighted that the combined efforts would enable companies to better structure and internalize their CSR policies, potentially leading to certification under the ESG 1000 standard.
