CO2 GRO Inc. Launches Its Largest Global Project in El Salvador with Hidroexpo

CO2 GRO Inc., a Toronto-based agricultural technology firm, announced the successful initiation of its most significant commercial endeavor with Hidroexpo in El Salvador. The project, a 6-hectare expansion featuring state-of-the-art aqueous CO2 enrichment technology at Hidroexpo's greenhouse complex, aims to boost production of red, orange, and yellow bell peppers.

The CAD $1 million project, executed under a Pay-For-Use agreement, showcases Hidroexpo’s confidence in CO2 GRO’s technology. The system, equipped with misting, infusion, and a Dynamic Monitoring & Control System, supports efficiency and ease of use through an online dashboard. Previous seasons' data, indicating a 20%-30% production increase, have strengthened this partnership, with the higher yield targeting the US market.

Rodrigo Martínez of Hidroexpo and Aaron Archibald of CO2 GRO expressed their enthusiasm and reflected on the mutual benefits of their collaboration. This project not only highlights CO2 GRO's technological advancement but also underscores its dedication to sustainable agriculture and productivity enhancement, marking a significant step in transforming the protected agricultural industry.
