Cliq Digital AG Revises 2024 Financial Outlook

DÜSSELDORF, May 6, 2024 – Cliq Digital AG has announced a revision of its 2024 financial forecast following a review of preliminary financial results for Q1. The company now expects to achieve revenues between €300 and €330 million, reduced from the previously estimated €360 to €380 million. EBITDA projections are also lowered to €26 to €30 million, down from earlier forecasts of €52 to €58 million.

The reduction in financial projections comes after Q1 figures showed a decrease in revenue by 13% quarter-on-quarter, amounting to €73.0 million. Year-on-year, revenue fell by 12%. EBITDA for the first quarter stands at €5.3 million before adjustments for special items, with realised EBITDA, including special items, amounting to €1.9 million. This shows a significant decline from €12.8 million in the same quarter of the previous year.

The total customer acquisition costs were reported at €29.3 million for Q1 2024, indicating a decrease from previous quarters. Cliq Digital is set to release finalised figures for the first quarter on May 8, 2024.
