Claranova completes the acquisition of PlanetArt’s minority stakes

Claranova announced on November 11, 2024 the full acquisition of the shares of Société Commune Européenne de Participation by its subsidiary PlanetArt Holdings Inc., thus marking an important step towards its “One Claranova” strategy. The transaction, worth €18.5 million, is financed by debt and represents a 40% reduction compared to the 2022 agreement.

This acquisition is part of the Claranova group's integration project, which aims to improve profitability and promote synergies between its entities. Following this transaction, Claranova will hold 100% of its two key divisions, Avanquest and PlanetArt. The completion of this purchase is accompanied by new appointments within PlanetArt LLC to support the strategy.

The financing comes from a new €20 million loan from Cheyne Capital. This acquisition reinforces Claranova’s ambitions for 2027, with revenue targets of up to €625 million.
