As China marks the 70th anniversary of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, significant progress in socio-economic development has been highlighted. Positioned as a key part of the Silk Road Economic Belt, Xinjiang facilitates trade between Asia and Europe. In 2024, over 16,400 China-Europe freight trains traversed the region, reflecting its strategic importance.
