Center Point Bio-Tech Signs National Distribution Agreement

LAS VEGAS, NV / ACCESSWIRE / May 20, 2024 / In anticipation of the commercial launch of the AlphaION Point of Care diagnostic platform, Center Point Bio-Tech, LLC (CP Bio) has entered into a non-exclusive distribution agreement with a notable veterinary distributor. This partnership aims to streamline the distribution of products to veterinary hospitals.

According to Tim Baum, founder and CEO of Center Point Bio-Tech, the AlphaION development remains on track for a launch by the end of 2024. He highlighted the ongoing beta unit placements in Q2 and the finalization of manufacturing specifications in Q3, underlining CP Bio's commitment to becoming a market leader in veterinary diagnostics.

Dr. Bonnie Bragdon, Chief Commercial Officer, noted that the interest from distribution partners validates AlphaION's commercial potential. The new partnership at this stage is crucial for a successful product launch, with plans to refine the AlphaION launch strategy and selectively expand distribution partners.

AlphaION is a patent-pending diagnostic system designed for veterinary practices, utilizing new technologies, lab automation, and artificial intelligence to enhance hospital workflow. The system is now available for purchase, with deliveries expected by Q4 2024. It aims to empower veterinarians in diagnosing and managing complex cases at the point of care.
