CCL Industries Announces Appointment of New Director

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / September 12, 2024 / Mr. Donald G. Lang, Executive Chairman of CCL Industries Inc., announced the appointment of Mr. David W. Nyland to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Nyland is the CEO of Lumine Group Inc., a global acquirer of communications and media software businesses. Lumine spun out of Constellation Software Inc. in 2023 and holds a market capitalization of approximately $9.2 billion.

Mr. Nyland has extensive experience in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and technology, including AI and cybersecurity. His contributions are expected to enhance CCL’s technological initiatives.

According to Mr. Lang, CCL’s businesses, such as Avery and Checkpoint, increasingly rely on technology. Mr. Nyland’s expertise will support CCL’s growth and technological advancements.
