Caravan Announces Board Change and Favourable Cost Decision

Calgary, AB / ACCESSWIRE / June 20, 2024 / Caravan Trailer Lodges of Alberta Ltd. ("Caravan") has appointed Beverly McKenzie as a director. She succeeds Herb Styles, who resigned for health reasons. Calum Stewart, already a director, will now serve as President.

Beverly McKenzie brings significant experience, having been a licensed realtor and active in various committees and boards. She resides in Sechelt, BC, where she works as a real estate assistant.

The Court of King's Bench has ruled in favor of Caravan regarding the dismissal of Herb Styles' receivership application. The Court awarded Caravan enhanced costs against Mr. Styles, covering 75% of their solicitor-client costs. This decision is based on the improper conduct displayed by Mr. Styles during the proceedings.
