Camino Minerals Corp Announces Promising Drilling Results at Los Chapitos, Peru

Camino Minerals Corporation revealed the outcomes of its latest drilling campaign at the Los Chapitos project in Peru, showcasing significant copper mineralization. The exploration focused on new targets aiming to expand the known mineralized zones and support future mine planning.

Highlighting the exploration, the Diana zone reported a 25m intercept at 1.34% Copper (Cu) and 13.1g/t Silver (Ag) from the surface. Similarly, the Lourdes zone demonstrated a 12.7m intercept at 0.79% Cu, enriching the project's prospective resource base. These findings suggest the expansion of copper mineralization and underline Los Chapitos' potential as a significant copper source.

CEO Jay Chmelauskas emphasized the importance of these discoveries in advancing the project towards resource delineation and future mine development. The exploration efforts exceeded expectations by identifying high-grade copper sections and extending known zones, such as Lourdes. Camino, alongside its partner Nittetsu Mining Co., Ltd., plans further drilling in 2024 to continue exploring the vast potential of Los Chapitos.

The drilling results promise to significantly impact Camino's exploration strategies, with a focus on unveiling new deposits that could enhance the project's resource profile. The continuous exploration efforts showcase Camino's commitment to advancing Los Chapitos towards becoming a pivotal copper project in Peru.
