The Burkhalter Group acquires Caotec SA in Brusio

On February 26, 2026, the Burkhalter Group announced the acquisition of Caotec SA, a company specializing in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Plumbing) based in Val Poschiavo. Employing 17 people, Caotec SA has an annual turnover of CHF 4.9 million.

Operating successfully for over three decades, Caotec offers innovative solutions in plumbing, heating, ventilation, and renewable energy. The company will continue to be managed by its current director, Dario Cao, and will retain its name. All current employees will remain in their positions.

This acquisition allows Burkhalter to expand its HVAC services in Upper Engadine, Lower Engadine, and Val Poschiavo. The company is pursuing its growth strategy through targeted acquisitions to strengthen its position in the building technology market.
