Burkhalter Group Expands with Acquisition of Caotec SA

On February 26, 2026, Burkhalter Group announced its acquisition of Caotec SA, a HVACP company based in Val Poschiavo, Canton of Graubünden. With this move, Burkhalter continues its strategy of expanding market presence through targeted acquisitions in the building technology sector. Caotec SA, employing 17 people and generating CHF 4.9 million in annual sales, has been a key player in the regional market for over 30 years.

Operating expertise in plumbing, heating, ventilation, and renewable energy will remain under the leadership of current manager Dario Cao. The acquisition allows Burkhalter to provide HVACP services to both Upper and Lower Engadine and Val Poschiavo, enhancing their service reach while maintaining Caotec SA's established brand and staff.
