Burkhalter Group Expands by Acquiring Elektro Bernina AG

Burkhalter Holding AG announced the acquisition of Elektro Bernina AG, a regional electrical engineering firm based in Madulain, with an additional branch in Pontresina, both located in the Canton of Grisons. The transaction is scheduled for completion on April 29, 2024. Elektro Bernina AG, which was established in 1997, boasts a workforce of ten employees and reports annual sales figures of approximately CHF 2.2 million.

The acquisition is part of a succession plan initiated by the owners of Elektro Bernina AG. Post-purchase, the company is set to merge with Triulzi AG, another entity under the Burkhalter Group umbrella based in St. Moritz. This merger is planned to be effective retroactively from April 1, 2024. Post-merger, both the Madulain and Pontresina sites will operate as branches of Triulzi AG, with assurances that all current employees will retain their positions.
